We’re excited to introduce the first trial event of CCS ONE, our new singles-focused circuit.
Singles requires a different skill set and a different mindset. For juniors, it builds the individual foundation. For adult beginners, it forces us to face our own movement, consistency, decision-making and limitations — the things doubles can sometimes help us hide.
Rather than waiting for someone else to organize the kind of Singles event we want to play, we decided to build it ourselves.

First Pilot Event
September 26 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Atlas Badminton Academy | 1589 The Queensway Unit 1, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 5V9
For our first trial, registration will be limited to 16 players so we have enough time and court capacity to properly test and improve the format.
Men and women will compete together. Don’t worry about level differences — matchmaking will be driven by results and player performance, so as the session progresses, players will increasingly be matched against opponents with similar records and performance.

By registering for and participating in CCS ONE, I acknowledge that badminton and related physical activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury or property damage.
I voluntarily assume the risks associated with my participation and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, release and discharge CCS Tournaments Foundation, including its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, organizers, agents and representatives, from claims arising from injury, loss or damage related to my participation in the event, except where such release is prohibited by law.
I confirm that I am physically capable of participating and that I am responsible for my own health, safety, equipment and personal belongings during the event.
I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the event and may be used by CCS Tournaments Foundation for tournament documentation, website, social media and promotional purposes.
I understand that the event format, matchmaking, schedule, court allocation and number of matches may be adjusted when necessary to keep the event safe, fair and running smoothly.
For participants under the age of majority, registration and participation must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
By submitting my registration, I confirm that I have read, understood and agreed to this waiver.
