Tournament Format
Team Challenge:
3 Flights, 3 games guaranteed.
Each team must consist of 6 to 10 players.Each team must have at least 2 female players and 4 male players.
The same pair cannot play twice in the same tie.
All players are required to play in at least one match to qualify for Semi-Finals and Finals.
Dream Smash Open:
3 Flights, 3 games guaranteed.
Participants' Equipment:Participants must bring their own racquets along with tournament grade feather shuttlecocks except for all final matches. (List of BWF approved shuttles are listed here. Areoplan is the sponsor for all final matches in this tournament and Black Areoplane shuttlecocks will be supplied for these matches.
Match Rules:Rally point system up to 21 points (capped at 30 points), best 2 of 3 games.
Draw Procedure:The draw will be conducted as per the guidelines set by CCS Tournaments.
Withdrawals and Replacements:If a player or team withdraws from the main competition, the CCS Tournament Committee or 'CCS Tournaments' reserves the right to replace the entry with a qualifying entry without reseeding or conducting a redraw. Substitutions:Requests for substitutions must be made at least one week before the first day of play. Refund No refunds will be provided after 21st August Refund can be requested by email and 5% transaction cost will be deducted.

Tournament Guidelines
Warm-Up Time:Warm-up time is limited to 2 minutes, starting from all players on court.
Match Attendance:Players will be defaulted if they are not on court within 5 min of announcement.
Breaks (Per BWF rules):Standard 1 minute interval break allowed at 11 pointsStandard 2 minute break between gamesIf the match goes to the third game, change ends at 11 pointsA minimum of 5 minutes break is guaranteed between matches
Match Officiation:Final matches will be officiated and line judges can be requested. All other matches will not be officiated. Players will be responsible to make all line calls, keep scores and resolve any issues as it arises.
Coaching:Coaching is permitted according to Badminton Canada rules (behind the court, between points only, etc.).
Field of Play Access:Spectators are not permitted in the field of play.
Players are allowed on court ONLY upon announcement, please do not use empty courts for warm up/rally
Player Eligibility:All players must be at least 8 years old on the day of the tournament. The CCS Tournament Committee reserves the right to request government-issued ID to confirm the identity and eligibility of any player.
